Description by Filmoteka Muzeum

The performance carried out in March 1978 in Warsaw on the ice covering of the Vistula River was dedicated to the users of public transport. While crossing the river on the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge, they could see nothing but a dull landscape. However, the actors from Akademia Ruchu changed the Vistula’s landscape for two weeks, animating the river with bands of bright red canvas, which were dynamically moved and set in a variety of configurations.
