Description by Filmoteka Muzeum

Bus II was staged outdoors, in Wetlina in the Bieszczady Mountains (where this footage originates from), and in Kuźnica on the Hel Peninsula, both villages in Poland. Over 30 actors of Akademia Ruchu remained motionless for an hour inside a bus abandoned on the side of the road. Akin to Bus I, the participants acted as motionless passengers and a ‘blind’ driver, creating an image that resembled the allegorical painting Bus by Bronisław Linke (1959–61).
