Galerie Florence Houston-Brown, Paris 1967 (1-19/19)
In 1967 the first solo exhibition of Szapocznikow was organized since she had left Poland in 1963. The presentation at Galerie Florence Houston Brown in Paris was curated by Pierre Restany, whom the artist had probably met in 1960 in Poland at the International AICA Congress. They remained in close touch since then. The exhibition was shown in the summer the same year in a slightly different version at Zachęta in Warsaw.
