The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw will host an evening in memory of late Warren Niesłuchowski (1946–2019).

Warren Niesłuchowski was an American writer, editor, and translator, a vagabond whose "nomadic lifestyle came to be considered as an artwork in itself", as ArtReview wrote when he passed away. A companion to artists, a host on bealf of many, an annanounced visitor, homeless by choice, a witness to important events of the artworld.

A commemorative evening in is name will take place at the Museum on Pańska, which Warren unofficially chose for his office, and where he had his correspondence adressed. His close friends and collaborators – Katy Bentall, Zuzanna Janin, Agnieszka Rayzacher, Mary Niesłuchowska, Andrzej Przywara, Adam Szymczyk, Joanna Warsza and the Museum team – will once again remisce about his "life of itinerancy and vagabondage".

During the evening fragments of Simon Leung video portrait of Niesluchowski’s life (War After War, 2011) and archival footage from Lokal 30 gallery will be screened.
