A conversation with Marek Beylin, the author if the first biographical novel about Alina Szapocznikow, the meeting will be conducted by Katarzyna Nowak, a journalist from Channel Two of the Polish Radio.

“Fervor” is a book about life and art full of erotism, about the roles that the female artists are forced into and on how a great art and an outstanding personality overcome and unmask such roles. The protagonist was a fascinating as well as a mysterious persona – she refused to comment on many issues of her life. Marek Beylin reconstructs the life of Alina Szapocznikow, he shows her artistic journey and, most of all, he evokes this incredible, thrilling figure – a rebellious woman, restless and thirsty of life.
