The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw is encouraging anyone interested in the issue of children and teenagers’ artistic education to take part in the first meeting in our series of seminars and workshops led by educators and promoters invited to share their experiences at the Museum.

The first meetings will be led by Hanna Zwierzchowska, Minister of Culture and National Heritage grant recipient, designer, educator, cooperating with the Museum's Program Department. She will present a selection of teaching methods used in European museums of contemporary and modern art (in Italy, Portugal, Great Britain).

The event will consist of two meetings. The first one will be devoted to analyzing teaching methods and workshops inspired by them, while the next one will include a presentation of educational toys designed using the Ministry grant for visual art-related cultural organizations. Among educators, promoters and cultural institution employees, we will think about cultural education paths for the young ones.

Led by Hanna Zwierzchowska - freelance artist and educator. She got her Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts diploma with honors, studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna, Italy, and graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts’ Teaching College. She is a recipient of the Leonardo da Vinci program and Minister of Culture and National Heritage scholarships. She collaborates with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.

The “Child at the Culture Center” project is a Minister of Culture and National Heritage scholarship project focused on research conducted at modern and contemporary art museums in Italy, Portugal and England that served as the basis for designing toys - educational aids.

The project was financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in cooperation with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
