Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw cordially invites all admirers of Tadeusz Rolke’s photography to the newly added three thousand images of Rolke’s photographs to the online archive of the artist. The entire collection will be available online on 23 May 2014, on the eve of the 85th birthday of Tadeusz Rolke.

The newly images include, among others, young man's attempts from the 40s, documenting the destruction of war and the rebuilding of city of Warsaw, Polish fashion from the 50s and 60s, Paris in the 60s, photographs from "Poland" monthly magazine and the time of exile in West Germany, the pilgrimage to Czestochowa in the 70s, Kora Jackowska and Maanam band and subsequent portraits of Polish artists from the 50's to the present.

Born in 1929, the artist is a classic of Polish photography. Since the mid-50s he cultivates humanistic reportage presented on the pages of magazines such as "Stolica", "Polska", "Ty i Ja", "Die Zeit", "Stern","Der Spiegel". He documented the various manifestations of visual culture in Poland and abroad, from art to fashion to pop music. He spent 1970s as an émigré in West Germany, returning to Warsaw in 1980, where he lives and works today.

On May 30, 2014 at 18.00 in Auditorium of Museum of Modern Art a screening of the film by Piotr Stasik "The Travel Diary" will be held. After the screening the audience will meet Tadeusz Rolke and the director.
