The Bródno sculpture park is an ever-evolving modern art exhibition, presented outdoors and open to the public 24/7.
It was created on the initiative of the artist Paweł Althamer, together with local authorities of the Targówek district and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Works by new artists are presented in the park each year. The term “sculpture” is defined broadly. It covers traditional objects, as well as installations, pictorial, sound interventions and performative acts (defined as “social sculptures”). All works displayed in the park are a part of the Museum of Modern Art’s collection. The Bródno Sculpture Park is also a space for educational activities conducted by the Museum, as well as many initiatives undertaken jointly with the local community and partners
