  • Bogdan Michalak, Nine rays of light at the sky, 2008

On 5 December 2008, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw reconstructed at the construction site of the Museum building the artistic action of Henryk Stażewski Nine rays of light at the sky. Painting at the sky created by Henryk Stażewski was transfer of the first time on 9 May 1970 in Wroclaw, during Art Symposium Wroclaw 70. Thousands of people within the whole city admired illuminating composition. Reconstruction of these unique actions was accompanied by competition announced by Gazeta Wyborcza, which is the best photography documenting the event. Bogdan Michalak became a winner of the competition, and its photograph was permanently included to the collection of the Museum.
