The film Brussels Sprouts merges the artist’s interest in eroticism with the pursuit of human conciliation with nature, which makes itself manifest in the use of props of “natural” origin. The film is of a modular structure, whose subsequent elements present the variations on a given fragment of the analysed reality.

It is based on repetition of the erotic image, which provides an intermedial reference to painting and its surrounding aura of sublimity. Thus, Zarębski arranges the aesthetic and fetishist celebration of the act of unveiling female breasts.

This hot and erotic motif is framed here by a cool, conceptual stylistic figure, and the model’s naked body merges into one with the natural element, bringing into being a unique and visually sophisticated configuration.
