Spring is a silent film about student riots in Paris. By recording youthful energy that erupted right in front of him, Sasnal managed to capture the rhythmicity of the demonstration. “There is something peculiarly unsettling about this film; something that got out of hand,” writes Kamila Wielebska in “Obieg”. “Suddenly, we begin to wonder how many days would the Spring protagonists need to raze the dull, damp and cloudy old Europe’s capital to the ground...”
