Filmoteka Muzeum

The project in Orońsko exemplifies the artistic idiom employed by Mioduszewski in his performative works – “still performance.” The artist’s body was buried up to the neck in the ground, leaving only his head that protruded above the ground – it became an artwork under protection of four professional security guards. The dynamic film documentation created by Piotr Wysocki stands in stark contrast to the static character of the action.
