Dance with Paper Knife combines handheld camera footage with animation. Yet, the difference between the two media is hardly discernible – the digital image is as distorted as the night shots. In a very conscious way Norman Leto taps into the deficiencies of the medium – he avoids corrections to reveal their latent potential.
