Treadmill is a short film that shows a man getting dressed whilst walking on a treadmill. In Dominik Lejman’s work, sport undergoes a process of extreme aesthetisation, with the distinction between art and sport blurred.
Sport, like art, is a symbolic activity. It is an activity separate from everyday life and one that initiates its own rules. In Lejman’s work we are dealing with a show, which is an aim in itself.
