Filmoteka Muzeum

Another walk including photographic-performance elements, minimal sculptural interventions and a memento mori: once more KwieKulik went to the cemetery on All Souls’ Day to take photographs. Kulik lit candles and placed chrysanthemums, typical seasonal plants considered ‘cemetery flowers’, on graves and Kwiek filmed Kulik taking pictures.
Later they took some of the chrysanthemums and candles home to the PDDiU, laid them on the floor and photographed them in a new surrounding. Kwiek filmed wrinkles around Kulik’s eye – wrinkles caused in part by her constant squinting when she looks into the viewfinder. Then Kulik bared her chest indicating her heart.
