By means of a simple household mechanism, the artist investigates here the physical properties of the matter and allows the viewer to confront their perception of the material world with reality. It would seem that a hit of the hammer is powerful enough to easily shatter a glass bottle, but what turns out important are the subtle differences in operation of physical forces, made manifest by the artist.
