Filmoteka Muzeum

The film by Igor Krenz and Wojciech Niedzielko came as a result of a rigorous execution of a certain formal experiment. The artists began by shooting scenes in the urban space, which they roamed walking backwards unlike all other people. It was only the manipulation of the film image that reversed the relations, so that in the film Krenz and Niedzielko walk in a “normal” way, while all other people walk backwards.

Yet, the norm is what the majority does, therefore even walking as we usually do, the two protagonists appear in the film as outsiders who have just landed in a strange and unfamiliar world.
