Filmoteka Muzeum

Piotr Bosacki compares the way he works to the process of composing a piece of music, where a proper arrangement of selected elements organises and harmonises the entire work. Throughout the entire silent film, we see a maze filled with string in two colours. The set of elements in the initial frame forms the image of a dark ellipse against a bright backdrop. As the elements are set into motion inside the limited surface of the labyrinth, in the middle of the film we arrive at the image of a bright ellipse against a dark background, and eventually – as the string continues to move on – we return to the initial situation.
