Stumble was performed in a number of cities, including Ciechanów, Świnoujście, Łódź and Warsaw, in places that gather crowds of passive street ‘audience’ (junctions, squares, shopping precincts where people spend their time observing the cityscape or have meetings with others). In such places, a series of inexplicable stumbles occurred among passers-by at short regular intervals in the very same, ordinary spot. Those mysterious stumbles elicited reactions from passive onlookers.
