We present ten works of art created by an international group of artists of the young and middle generations, specifically for the temporary seat of our Museum, which is located in a former furniture store. The title of this presentation is simply Exhibition.

What the German art curator Susanne Pfeffer had in mind, was to restore the primary function of a shop window in the Museum building. This is why the artists participating in this project were asked to create completely new works which would touch on the motif of a shop window along with the cravings and fantasies it triggers.

The works occupy huge store windows of the temporary seat of our Museum. People can look at them day and night, just like at any store window. However, they cannot get near them, or enter them. The viewers are separated from the presented objects by a window-pane in the same way as passers-by are separated from the displayed products. The window-pane divides the spheres of the street and everyday life and the unavailable realm of dreams. While the Exhibition is running, the Museum interior will be closed.
