A work of art - or an installation such as "Pole Gry" [title] - is truthful and reliable if it transmits to the viewer the intention of the artist in its intellectual and historical context through its physical presence.

How can a work with such a complex variety of materials, with performative and site specific aspects and with reference to social and political structures, be conserved and presented? This talk will emphasize on the relationship - and the conflict - between the aging matter and the immaterial concept of installations.
