Revolution or continuation?
Debate about architectural education

Stories gathered at “Radical Pedagogies: Reconstructing Architectural Education” exhibition present these moments in post-WWII architectural education which – through undermining the principles – have led to a revolution within the discpline.

During the debate the question of impact of these experiments were raised – whether continuation of established methods and of ideas is more important than their continual questioning? How do schools find themselves after revolutions? How do they reshape their programmes? How does Polish architectural education look like in this context — to which traditions does it refer to? What were its ground-breaking moments? Is it worth coming back to some of its experiences? Do we need a revolution today?
