The Close-Up
Conducted by Łukasz Ronduda and Sebastian Cichocki

  • The Close-Up

    Łukasz Ronduda i Sebastian Cichocki

The “Close-Up” is a series of short, twenty- or thirty-minute guided tours around the “As You Can See” exhibition, focused around details of the exhibition: single works, combinations, legal problems or conservation problems, hidden information or relations between works in individual rooms.

The “Close-Up” series is focused around what is invisible (or what remains hidden at first glance) at the exhibition. Curators of the exhibition, Sebastian Cichocki and Łukasz Ronduda, will be speaking, among others, about the enigmatic installation of the “Bracia” group, about folklore in contemporary art, lies and confabulations, the jaunt to the Ukrainian Lakes – following the traces of Witkacy – and the “murder” of the avant-garde fathers.

The meetings with curators and their special guests will be held each Thursday at 5.30 p.m..

Meetings in the series:
April 17th – KILLING THE FATHERS. PIOTR UKLAŃSKI AND THE AVANT-AVANT-GARDE
April 24th – ORDINARY MATTERS. MATERIAL TURN IN ART
May 15th – AVANT-GARDE AND OTHER URBAN LEGENDS
May 22th – MODERN FOLKLORE
