Narration: Points of View
Open Museum 2013/14

  • Narration: Points of View

In cooperation with the quarterly “Widok [The View]”, dedicated to the theories and practices of visual culture, we are holding six lectures of eminent visual culture scholars, critics, art historians and philosophers.

Our guests will be addressing themes tackled by the collection exhibition. The agenda includes: Professor Juliane Rebentisch – on the issue of emancipation; Professor Mieke Bal – on inwardness, spirituality and games; Philippe-Alain Michaud – on visual propaganda; Professor Rosalyn Deutsche – on trauma, memory and the Holocaust; Professor Regis Durand – on the “post-document”, news culture and media. The meetings and discussions will be facilitated by the editors of “Widok”.
