Horses (201-231/231)

An iconographic study on images of horses in art and including photographic studies from nature conducted by Władysław Hasior was a resultant of his artistic inquiries – search for an ideal synthesis of forms and studies on a symbiosis between a man and animal as well as its changing historical and political conditions. Horses appear in some Hasior's assemblages and in one of the most known open-air work: "Słoneczny rydwan" ["Sunny Chariot"] (1974) in Södertälje (Sweden).

The set includes "Notatniki" ["Notebooks"]: "Konie" ["Horses"] (100, 280), "Pomnik konny przez wieki" ["Equestrian Monument over Centuries"] (040), "Pomnik konny XIX wiek" ["Equestrian Monument - 19the Century"] (208).
