Eve, 1984. (1-1/1)
Project „Ewa“ has been prepared as an illustration of the 9th issue of „Tango“ magazine from 1984. the sheer wy of depicting nudity cused substntil upror mong critics, what seems to be an element of strategy assumed by the artist, to pick viewer's attention to the work and its subject.
Ewa is a study of corporeality and a reference to natura as the esential vital force of the social system. Independently from how institutionalised human behaviours would be, natre still determines our desires and affects. Libera indicates here how too great an attachment to conventions, if they are against nature, will be sooner or later corrected by the deeply rooted human intuition. A contradiction is being shown here – what is natural, closest to an individual and enclosed in her is also highly controversial because of rigid and artificially constituted institutions. In this case it is exactly the taming of the inner nature which seems the primordial sin, which the contemporary Eva commits.
