Description by Filmoteka Muzeum

My Leg Hurts is based on single-shot structure, characteristic of Robakowski’s works. It was filmed from the point of view of someone who treads his weary way on a forest path, moaning and groaning about the hurting leg. Similarly to the film I’m Going, created in the same way in 1973, the artist attempts here at an iconoclastic representation of the body; he initiates a situation where the material nature of film enters into dialogue with the material nature of the human body
