Leaven. About Zofia and Oskar Hansen
A new book by Filip Springer

  • Leaven. About Zofia and Oskar Hansen

The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw presents a book about a couple of extraordinary Polish architects-visionaries, whose ideas could not come true (really?).

Roman Kurkiewicz talks with Filip Springer, the renowned author of reports, and Joanna Mytkowska, director of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, about Hansen’s Open Form and his idea to change the world.

Apart from Leaven, the second book from the series published by the Museum and the publishing house Karakter, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw dedicates other projects to the Hansens’ legacy. Among them are those just recently initiated and realized in collaboration with MACBA (Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art) and Bergen School of Architecture, Bergen, Norway.

The meeting is co-financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.
