Visiting the Hansens
Workshops for children in the Hansen family house in Szumin

  • Visiting the Hansens

Why does the house have “holes”? Why build a roof edge that reaches the ground? And what’s the deal with this table that goes through the walls?

During the family workshops we will take a close look at the atypical space of the Hansens’s house, discover the secrets of the garden of Szumin, check out the mysterious “absorbent backgrounds” and explore how the colorful cameras collected in the house work.

The workshops are designed for children between 6-12 years old, together with their care-takers. We take off from Warsaw at 10 am and come back around 5 pm. An application form will be available on the Museum’s Web site a week before the event. Seats are limited and the applicants will be handled on a first-come-first-service basis. The workshops are free of charge.
