Material walks #3

Material walks are a series of guided tours of Warsaw's housing estates built in the years 1989-2016. During the walks we will look at the building from the perspective of building materials used in their construction.

However, by putting the emphasis on building materials, we don't wish to limit ourselves to talking about their aesthetic or functional advantages. The question of how our homes were built and what from is in fact a question of the state of us, the builders.

During the walks we will analyze Warsaw's new residential projects both on an architectural and on a social and environmental level. Each walk will be an opportunity to meet with architects, engineers and residents of Warsaw's residential complexes and hear about their perspective on transformational residential projects.
