On artists\' tongues
Workshops for children aged 4 to 10 accompanying the exhibition “In the Heart of the Country”

  • On artists\\\' tongues

What’s the language that artists speak? Do they use sounds, letters or gestures? Can anybody learn the artists’ language?

Together with children we will learn the basic grammar and spelling rules in the language of art. We will have a chance to reflect on whether an artist from Poland speaks a different language than an artist from Egypt or the U.S. We will check whether we can learn more about other countries and cultures through the works of art showcased at the exhibition “In the Heart of the Country” at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.

While the children explore the language of art, parents and carers can join us for a tour of the exhibition “In the Heart of the Country”, this time around together with Joanna Mytkowska – the Director of the Museum.

Registeration for the workshops necessary.
