La Stampa

The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites to a concert of the Berlin based group La Stampa - a great opportunity to celebrate the wonderful summer.

The history of the band:

Founded: 2008 in Berlin
Reason for founding: grown-up with stupid ideas
Aim No. 1: prevent worst from happening
Aim No. 2: make best of it

100 years ago members of the band La Stampa, considering their age, would have been advised that death was imminent. But in 2013, they are alive and kicking, celebrate eternal youth in modern pop music and propagate the present as the place to be. On their first train ride together from Berlin to Warsaw they will inconclusively discuss why they only ever seem to play in galleries and museums. And not in the Dionysian temples of excess, they dream of in their music. Maybe, finally, in Warsaw, someone can show them the way.

La Stampa are: Jons Vukorep (dr, voc), Günter (aka Nova Huta) Reznicek (synth, voc), Thomas Hug (keys, voc), Jörg Heiser (git, voc) and Jan Verwoert (b, voc).
