Irma Boom: BOOM BOOKS

The Association of Applied Graphic Designers (STGU) together with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands invite you to the lecture by Irma Boom, Dutch book designer. She started her practice, called Irma Boom Office, in 1991 and since then she has worked for such institutions as the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Museum of Modern Art in New York, Fondazione Prada, Ferrari, Vitra International, OMA/Rem Koolhaas.

Since 1992 she has worked as design critic at the Yale University in the USA. MoMA has included her books into their Architecture & Design collection. Among her most famous works is the “SHV Think Book 1996-1896” designed for SHV Holdings from Utrecht.
