100 New Films at Filmoteka Muzeum

Filmoteka Muzeum of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw cordially invites you to a screening of films by Wojciech Bąkowski and a meeting with the artist. The event accompanies the premiere of the new film archive website of the Museum.

The 23rd August sees the launch of the new website of Filmoteka Muzeum. The film archive has been extended by over 100 new films (by Anna Baumgart, Wojciech Bąkowski, Kuba Bąkowski, Agnieszka Brzeżańska, Oskar Dawicki, Oskar Hansen, Aneta Grzeszykowska, Alicja Karska and Aleksandra Went, Tomasz Konart, Marek Koterski, Grzegorz Królikiewicz, Natalia LL, Anna Niesterowicz, Roman Polański, Wojciech Puś, Józef Robakowski, Iwo Rutkiewicz, Mateusz Sadowski, Wilhelm Sasnal, Konrad Smoleński, Jerzy Truszkowski, Zbigniew Warpechowski, Krzysztof Wodiczko, Anna Zaradny, Alicja Żebrowska, Artur Żmijewski, and others).

The event also comprises a screening of films by Wojciech Bąkowski, including a new purchase to the collection of the Museum, titled Sight Deterioration [Pogorszenie widzenia] and Dry Standpipe [Suchy pion], awarded at the International Film Festival New Horizons in Wrocław (and screened at the International Short Film Festival in Oberhausen this year).
