The second life of photography - on the subjectivity of seeing
An inclusive guided tour

Join us for another meeting in a series of inclusive guided tours of the Zofia Rydet exhibition.

Following Susan Sontag's suggestion, we will treat the photographs from the “Sociological Record” as an invitation to deduct and speculate. Using quotes from Zofia Rydet's letters and various statements, we will try to widen our field of vision to include what might have happened on the other side of the camera. During the activities we will try to arouse our distrust towards photography and create our own, subjective paths for the exhibition.

The meeting will be led by Agnieszka Sinicka - a University of Warsaw Art History graduate. She is an educator working with the Museum of Modern Art, the Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle and contemporary art promotion platform Spotlight, among others.
