Our meeting with Karol Radziszewski will focus on his film works. The artist will tell us about how they evolved from short video forms in the beginning of the 2000s to more elaborate documentaries and feature films recently. The meeting will include a screening of the artist's films.

Karol Radziszewski was born in 1980. He is a filmmaker, photographer, author of installations and interdisciplinary projects. He graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Publisher and editor-in-chief of “DIK Fagazine”. Winner of 2009 Paszport Polityki. His works have been featured in Zachęta National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź, Wrocław Contemporary Museum, the National Museum in Warsaw, the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle, Kunsthalle Wien, the New Museum in New York, Cobra Museum in Amsterdam, the Performa 13 biennial in New York, 7th Göteborg Biennale, 4th Prague Biennale and 15th WRO Media Art Biennale, among others.

The meeting with Karol Radziszewski will be held in conjunction with the third edition of Filmoteka at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
