Tomasz Machciński's benefit performance to celebrate 50 years of artistic work Meeting with the artist
From the artist's photographic archive, 2014, made available by Tomasz Machciński
Tomasz Machciński, who calls himself “a man of a thousand faces” and whose numerous photographic works are presented as part of the “Why We Have Wars” exhibition, is celebrating 50 years of his artistic work this year.
Since 1966 he has consistently been implementing his total art project in which he becomes various famous characters from history, politics and pop culture, as well as invented human types and creatures.
To commemorate this occasion, we are holding a meeting with this amazing artist - a director, actor, make-up artist, costume designer, as well as photographer and archivist of this 50-year long spectacle.
