“Artists Online” is a series of portraits of the representatives of Polish contemporary art of the last two decades.

A series of films focuses on their profiles and the issue of contemporary art. The language used by visual artists is particularly difficult to an average spectator: it derives from many decades of experiments, changes in interpretation, the emergence of new media and fields of exploration.

Viewers with incomplete artistic literacy can have problems with full participation in culture. “Artists Online” series seeks to explain this language.

Two parts, hosting Joanna Rajkowska and Anna Baumgart, will be presented.
