In his works, Phintong often uses bills of different currencies, gold and rare metals, such as yttrium. To make the sculpture (Hakuna Matata) It so happens we are humans , he used Zimbabwean dollars. Due to hyperinflation in this country, the newly introduced denominations lose their purchasing value extremely quickly and need to be replaced by higher ones (in 2009 a record-breaking denomination of a hundred billion Zimbabwean dollars was introduced). The situation did not improve after the denomination process, and changing the currency to a different one is illegal. Phintong exchanged five thousand Euros he received for one of his artworks for Zimbabwean money. A group of his friends obtained the bills for him in Africa. The more bills he had, the bigger grew the sculpture. The heap of money arranged on the floor in the shape of a cuboid is presented in the Parisian art gallery gb agency.
