Oskar Dawicki (born 1971)
Oskar Dawicki is a multimedia artist, performer, and co-creator of the Azorro group since 2001 (together with Igor Krenz, Wojciech Niedzielko and Łukasz Skąpski). Dawicki’s work revolves around fundamental existential issues, commenting on the realities of the art world and his place in it. A distinguishing feature of Dawicki’s work is its highly distanced, often absurd, ironic humour, and a blue brocade jacket is a constant element of his performances.
