Jan Styczyński (1917–1981)
Jan Styczyński was a photographer, author of numerous albums and exhibitions. He took up photography in 1950, after previously being a soldier in the Polish Army (he took part in the Warsaw Uprising). He became famous for his photographs of nature, notes on life in modern cities, and documentation of the Warsaw art world.
