Agnieszka Polska (born 1985)
Agnieszka Polska creates videos, animations and photographs. In her works, she uses archival sources, fabricated visual materials and stylized paintings from a few decades ago. The subject of Polska’s work is often the history of art – especially the 1960s and 70s. She is interested in its myths, legends difficult to verify, as well as the mechanisms of remembering and denial in the system of constructing artistic canons.
