Filmoteka Muzeum

Enjoy the Silence (2018) is a soundless contemplative video work arranged in a series of sequences presenting sparks of matter creating flickering constellations. Focusing one’s attention on an individual detail and hyper realistically registering the moment of surface decomposition proves the structural film was the inspiration for the work. Evocative usage of movement and sound translated into a piece, which may be interpreted like a dance. The film teleports visitors into a space, reminding one of the cosmos or a deep sea abyss. The time has come to dive deep into the reservoir of silence. Nevertheless, the soothing atmosphere is purely illusory. The fractured matter creates intensive aural perceptions, which may evoke the anxiety.
