Performance for 5 performers, Wyspa Institute of Art, Gdańsk, May 2011; in collaboration with Anna Szwajgier
This unique concert explores political aspects of noise and rediscovers the essence of the human voice for the workplace. The artists invited to cooperate a group of shipyard workers to create a special libretto, played out in a shipyard setting with the use of choreography including a heavy technical equipment and music written specifically for the workplaces. The whole concert interweaves in different proportions themes of work and leisure. The music running from the speakers turns on the choreography the workers start to work and produce a maximum noise. The music breaks off there is a pause and only in this break we can listen to some interesting music solutions delicate studies for talks or glass.
