Perspective was created during annual workshops in Dłużewo attended by artists affiliated with the studio of Professor Grzegorz Kowalski – the so-called “Kowalnia”.

The film features the artist wading through the snow in a white uniform with attached ropes, which arrange into a pyramid upon stretching, marking out linear perspective with Molska in the centre.

The artist strives to walk onwards against the resistance of the ropes as if she wanted to reach the horizon. Suddenly, a rope breaks and she falls down on the snow.

Thus, Molska calls into question one of the seminal points of reference for artists since renaissance – linear perspective. Her absurd pursuit of the centre seems to be a mockery of the traditional tool used by painters to transfer a three-dimensional image into a two-dimensional picture.
