Honorata Martin’s animation serves as the artist’s illustration of her own performance Come and Take what You Want, an artistic action that led Martin to give away all her personal belongings to her neighbours. The performance exemplifies the kind of art that is based on an authentic existential experience – art that radically questions the values of the consumer society and builds on the willingness to renounce any kind of property.
The animation was created specially for the screening High Price at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw in 2014.
