Artificial Reality shows the artist’s naked body transformed by film tricks into its new form. The eponymous artificial reality emerging from the transformation of the initial images consists of fantasies and dreams, erotic visions – hailing well from beyond the field of conceptual art.

Challenging the merely analytical dimension of Polish conceptual art, Natalia LL merges it with the irrational, subconscious and sensual. According to the artist, this dimension of art is closer to the human psyche and “mental reality” than what technology or science, so eagerly tapped into by analytical conceptualists, has to offer.
