Filmoteka Muzeum

By recording the movement of clock hands on film tape the artist makes the effort of translating an image into a concept. However, the effort can prove fruitful only provided that a viewer is involved. Fragmentary recording of time impels the viewer to mental activity consisting in complementing the presented stretch of time and restoring its proper continuum. Emphasis on the relation between the material character of the artist's work and the mind of the viewer constitutes the basis of Natalia LL’s variety of conceptual art, called “permanent art”.
