The film is one of those works by Dawicki where he perversely develops art around the lack of it. This is accompanied by manifestations of sadness and remorse. A range of Dawicki’s films pivot around apologies for not being able to get through to the viewers, because he got locked in an elevator, got lost in an unfamiliar city or because his car broke down, etc.

The artist unveils the void of art, which he relates to the rejection of the essentialist and metaphysical reflection in favour of the pragmatic “dissolution” of art in reality, brought by the post-conceptual turn of the 1960s and 1970s.
