Waldemar Tatarczuk
B. 1964 in Siemiatycze, Poland. Performer, installation and video artist. Founder of Performance Art Centre in 1999, which functioned for a decade at the Cultural Centre in Lublin, engaging in presentations, propagation and research on performance art. Organiser of international performance art festivals. Since 2010, director of the Labirynt Gallery in Lublin, which collaborates with major performers from Poland and abroad. Tatarczuk actively participates in international art events in Europe, Asia and North America; he also runs performance workshops tapping into his broad experience as an artist and curator.
